I’m passionate about photography, art and architecture.
I guess it all started when my aunt gifted me a Kodak Ektra 100 camera when I was 11 years old. I took photos of my school friends, my little dog Dottie, holidays, etc. while growing up. My style evolved throughout the years while learning to master my cameras and using photo-editing software.
I come from a very creative and artistic family – my nanna and mum both cooked, sewed and painted the most beautiful sceneries and flowers. My mum made exquisite quilts and started with watercolour painting later in her life.
I emigrated from South Africa to Australia in 2014 and am still taking photos and videos wherever we go as we’re exploring this country. There’s just so much to see and do!
Another passion of mine is aviation – fast flying jets, the sound of rotor blades and of course the smell of jet fuel. You’ll often see me airside and at airshows.
These days I also fly drones having a birds eye view of the world from above and am starting to enjoy video editing. It gives a different perspective of our amazing world.
